A new wind is blowing!
As part of its strategic development, Jahreszeiten Verlag is transforming itself into a luxury and premium brand provider ("brand manufacture") and will selectively develop new business areas under the umbrella of its exclusive brand portfolio.
We are dynamically driving these developments forward; despite the current economic challenges, we are continuing to make targeted investments in our magazines.
ln this context, we are also completely avoiding double numbers or the suspension of magazine frequencies!
The outlined reorientation is also accompanied - concept-immanently - by organisational changes.
Our Head of Editorial, Dr. Thomas Garms, will take over the chief editorial responsibility for our lead magazines AW Architektur und Wohnen and Robb Report (Deutsche Ausgabe); the editorial teams will also be strengthened in terms of personnel.
Joern Kengelbach, who has so far held editorial responsibility for the two luxury magazines, has handed over the projects to Dr. Thomas Garms in June by mutual agreement. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Joern Kengelbach for his successful work.
First live streaming took place with the AW Architect of the year 2020 award given in Berlin on July 3rd 20. We are very proud of this première and recommend our advertisers to become a sponsor for the upcoming events.

Figures recorded in June showed that footfall in England was up by more than a third on last week.
On England’s high streets alone footfall rose by 50.5% in June, while smaller rises were seen at retail parks and shopping centres. Shoppers described returning to stores as “a delight” and a “wonderful freedom”.
“Londoners will be the first to come back and shop.” says Katie Thomas, director of Bond Street and Mayfair at New West End Company, and with about 90 per cent of brands in London’s West End district, reopening, shoppers won’t be disappointed.
However of the 200 million annual visitors to the West End pre Covid, 49% were tourists.
With travel anticipated to not come back until at least Spring 2021, it’s never been more important to target LOCAL.
